Starring not once but twice by the notoriously particular Alfred Hitchcock, Tippi Hedren became a household name after her role in The Birds.
With a career spanning six decades, actress Tippi Hedren has earned the moniker “Hollywood legend.” Best known for her starring roles in the Alfred Hitchcock classics The Birds (1963) and Marnie (1964), Tippi has also appeared on television in shows ranging from The Bionic Woman to Murder, She Wrote, Chicago Hope, and Dream On. A renowned wildlife supporter, Tippi is also the star and producer of the 1981 Africa-based adventure Roar. Tippi’s awards are too many to list, including a 1963 Golden Globe for “New Star of the Year” and a Living Legacy Award in 2005.
