Rory Cochrane’s natural acting talent and witty charm brought him critical acclaim for his breakthrough roles in the film hits Empire Records and Dazed and Confused.
Though born in New York, Rory Cochrane grew up in England before returning to the U.S. to study and pursue a career in acting. Rory played his first major role as Jeff Goldblum’s son in the 1992 film Fathers and Sons. He then went on to critical acclaim for his breakthrough roles in the film hits Dazed and Confused (1993) and Empire Records (1995). More recently, Rory has become widely known for his lead role as criminalist Tim Speedle on the TV sensation CSI: Miami. In 2009, the busy young actor will star with Johnny Depp and Christian Bale in the Michael Mann gangster thriller Public Enemies.
