Beginning her career on Broadway in the 1960s, Lainie quickly earned notoriety for her many performances on Dean Martin’s variety series. Her television work also includes roles on St. Elsewhere (1982-1988), Touched By an Angel (1994-2003), and Will & Grace (1998-2006). Her film credits are many, including a memorable role as Maria Portokolas in the comedy hit My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002) and Adam Sandler’s You Don’t Mess with the Zohan (2008). In addition to her acting work, Lainie regularly appears on concert stages in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
