Gaby Hoffmann began acting at age four. Three years later she made her film debut playing the daughter of Kevin Costner in Field of Dreams (1989). Hoffmann grew up in New York City's famed Chelsea Hotel as the real-life daughter of Andy Warhol celebrity, Viva. Hoffmann, known for always speaking her mind, has been in the public eye eversince a child. Growing up she was featured in roles that showcased her intelligence and frankness, such as in Uncle Buck (1989), but it was Nora Ephron?s This Is My Life (1992) and Sleepless in Seattle (1993) that showed her unique talent. Her other work includes The Man Without a Face (1993), Freaky Friday (1995), Volcano (1997), and 200 Cigarettes (1999).
