California-born Cole Hauser has marked himself as a film and television actor of great dramatic appeal and depth. Blessed with rare drive and determination, Cole made a reputation for himself even at a young age as uncommonly persistent in auditions—which led to his first big break in the film School Ties (1992). He followed that debut with roles in Dazed and Confused (1993) and the Oscar-winning Good Will Hunting (1997). Cole’s unique screen presence has continued to serve him well, leading to a role alongside Bruce Willis in 2003’s Tears of the Sun. Since then, Cole has moved up to leading roles in a number of Hollywood features, including Mel Gibson’s Paparazzi (2004), The Cave (2005), and the mystery-thriller Tortured (2008), alongside Laurence Fishburne.
