It didn’t take Boston-born Alessandro Nivola long to prove his acting talent: He landed a starring role in Broadway right after college.
Boston-born Alessandro Nivola began his acting career during college at Yale. And it didn’t take him long to prove his talent: Soon after graduating, in 1995, Nivola landing a starring role on Broadway alongside Helen Mirren in A Month in the Country. By 1997, he’d landed his first film roles, appearing in Inventing the Abbotts and playing Nicholas Cage’s psychotic brother in Face/Off. Since then, Nivola has enjoyed a wide array of diverse roles in such films as Jurassic Park III, Smallville, Laurel Canyon, and The Clearing. Due out in 2009 is Goal! 3, the completion of a film trilogy for which Nivola has received widespread acclaim.
