Biography

A two time Emmy winner and eleven time nominee for his work on the television phenomenon, Cheers (1982-93), Danson was leader of the legendary ensemble, which included Woody Harrelson, Kelsey Grammer, George Wendt, Rhea Perlman, Shelley Long and later Kirstie Alley, among others.
He brought humor and congeniality to the egotistical and testosterone charged portrayal of one of television?s most iconic characters, Sam Malone.
Danson began in the New York theater, appearing Off-Broadway and in Shakespeare-in-the-Park productions.
Besides his esteemed work in the theater and his incredible eleven year run on one of the most loved and critically acclaimed television shows of all time, Danson?s other work includes Body Heat (1981), Three Men and a Baby (1987), Three Men and a Little Lady (1990), Made in America (1993), Saving Private Ryan (1998) and Becker (1998-2004) among others.
He generously offers here, all the experience and wisdom he acquired from three decades of celebrated work in film, television, and stage.
