What is a channel?
A channel is a collection of video content that has been fed by the amazing work of you, our TakeHollywood members. Each channel will have its own theme. The channel will be run by a channel manager. The channel manager will be able to invite you to be part of the channel entourage. Once you have accepted, the channel manager will be able feature on the channel the video content you have uploaded on your profile page for maximum traffic and visibility. You will also be able to publish your latest news on the channel homepage. Enjoy! Who can create a channel? Only a TakeHollywood member may apply to create a channel. Once application is accepted, you will be sent a confirmation email within the next 48 hours. Click here to create a channel. Click here to join TakeHollywood. What is a channel manager? A channel manager runs a specific channel. Whoever has created the channel is the channel manager. Only the channel manager can invite TH members and friends to join the channel. Only he/ she may remove them. He/ She can create, delete and manage playlists. He/ she can upload video content directly on the channel. He/ she can publish on the channel the uploaded video content of members who have accepted to be part of the channel entourage. He/ she can edit the news calendar. He/ she can edit all the channel info. Who can subscribe to a channel? Only TakeHollywood members may subscribe to a channel. Susbcription is by invitation only, only the channel manager can validate your subscription request. If you are not a TakeHollywood member but wish to subscribe to a channel, you first have to join Takehollywood. Click here to join What is a playlist? A playlist is a collection of video content gathered from the profile pages of the TakeHollywood members who have accepted to be part of the specific channel entourage. Only a channel manager may create and manage playlists. How do I remove one of my videos from a playlist? Since only the channel manager may manage playlists, they way to remove one of your videos from a playlist is to unsubscribe yourself from the channel. |
